What are the aims of media?


Media or mass media is a platform or a means of communication that reaches a large number of people via television, magazine, billboards, etc. Basically, media includes everything from broadcasting to internet. They play an important part in uplifting the brands/organization. One can always look out for different media relations firm which offer offers excellent services for their brands. The scope of mass communication or media is very extensive and it deals with a variety of objectives. It is also a medium to entertain people and make them feel happy or joyous. Also, helps in educating the audience. Media is one of the best media of communication. With the help of various media like electronic, print and web media, the mass communication is accomplished in a suitable way. Aim and objectives of media:

Also, plays a constructive role in the society by raising social issues. For which we have many examples such as dowry, female foeticide, gender discrimination, etc. that have been raised by media quite well.

Live telecasts -  This helps audience to view live telecast of the events be it the cricket world cup, FIFA matches, our prime minister or president addressing the nation, the areas affected by flooding or just any other incident, media helps us see the true picture by providing the LIVE or recorded telecast for almost all important events.

Transmits information – Media often gleans the information and then broadcast it via print, television, radio, etc from time to time so that the general public stays aware of what is going on in the country and in the entire world.

Media has now become an integral part of the society, which is the reason why there are countless PR firms in Delhi and around the world which helps in building a brand/organization.
