Whenever you plan to start a business, you often hear different voices or people putting forward their points or opinions in front of you. Most of this might come from people who have no idea of the business which you are planning to start or have no idea about a successful company. It's not a person running the business, but the marketing strategies or the employees that make or break a company's success--it's the quality and profitability of the idea behind the company. · Build a team, an idea is just not enough to start a business: One has to build a strong team to take that idea forward. Get a board of advisors, or get a team of professional accountants, coaches, lawyers and bankers. A great team will greatly improve the chances for success of any business.
· Profit margins should be high: We always have to look for the cash flow first, be it a small organization or a large one. Profit margins should always be high in any of the two, because one runs a business to earn profit! Also there are very few companies that compete for long term on “we are cheaper” marketing strategy! While growing, having a higher profit margin is essential to make one capable of self-financing their growth plans.
